The
Hartness Case Packer Model GlobalPak and OctoPack
The
OctoPack and GlobalPak case packers and unpackers are highly efficient and
dependable at handling a variety of containers at a wide range of speeds.
Utilizing eight or ten independent heads, Hartness rotary products
positively place containers while reducing breakage and label damage.
Round and non-round containers are handled with ease and versatility and
can be packed in most cases, trays, fu1l-flapped cartons and plastic
crates-with or without partitions. In addition to the rotary systems,
Hartness offers the Model 2600 continuous motion case packer for round
containers. Continuous motion packing provides smooth operation, gentle
handling of product, durability and minimal noise levels while being able
to achieve speeds required for faster applications.

The
Hartness Case Packer Model 2800 and 2900 "S" Series
The
Model 2800 and 2900 "S" Series case packers are the
quickest, smoothest, most precise vertical load case packers in the
packaging industry. Each model has a machine/modem link for direct
assistance and reliable touch-screen operator interface facilitating
operation and maintenance. All major axes are driven by servo
technology, a11owing precise adjustments for fast and efficient
packing, and, once parameters for a certain product are set, the
machine permanently stores them. Personnel without prior experience
with servo- contro11ed systems are able to utilize the packer's
artificial inte11igence and teach it new positions.
The
Model
2800 was developed as a faster, quieter, smoother, better performing
vertical load front runner to handle most container and case/tray
shapes and sizes with ultimate precision. The Mode12800 can be
optioned as the Model 2900 to handle containers that tend to bridge,
lock up or shingle when conveyed or transferred. The "S"
Series can be designed as pick and place or as a traditional vertical loading
packer, utilizing lowering head or elevator
technology.

Hartness Vertical Packer Model 825
Hartness
vertical load packers, developed around the Hartness Grid System,
allow diverse packing capabilities, including lowering head, case
elevator, or placement packing. These machines are proven
performers designed to increase line productivity . They are
extremely reliable, flexible, and easy to maintain and operate. l11e
Hartness Model 825 case packer gently and precisely handles round
and non-round containers in sizes from 50ml to 5L. l11e 825 offers
simple, no tools changeovers and a cushion loading system that
provides soft packing for delicate product. l11e Model 900 case
packer has the same options and benefits of the Model 825 but
includes additional features to handle the most difficult container
shapes. In addition, the Models 1900, 500 and 800 case packers
incorporate many features of the more sophisticated Hartness packers
and are well suited for lower production speeds.
